Every article starts with research, backed by daily trend tracking and forecasting. We monitor Google and Pinterest Search, TikTok, Instagram, runway and red-carpet coverage, product launches, nail artists, salons and wider beauty and fashion conversations to see both what’s trending now and what may be coming next.

We look for patterns across multiple sources rather than treating every viral post as a new trend. That can mean seeing the same color, finish, nail technique, silhouette or aesthetic appearing repeatedly, noticing growing search interest, or tracking what our own readers are saving, sharing and asking about.

We also hear directly from TPI readers looking for inspiration, sharing their own finds and asking what to try next. That feedback gives us another useful signal about what people are actually interested in beyond platform trend data.

Our editors then research each topic further, curate the strongest examples and add context, commentary and practical recommendations where relevant.
