The Front Row Was the Real Runway at Paris Couture Week

The Front Row Was the Real Runway at Paris Couture Week

The runways brought the drama – sculptural gowns, surreal silhouettes, the works – but the real action was outside. Paris Haute Couture Week had the fashion elite out in full force, but it was the celeb looks that had Instagram reloading. From crows to crystal lace, the front row didn’t just watch the shows – it was the show.

A-List Fashion

Let’s start with the moment that basically broke the timeline: Cardi B, Schiaparelli, and her plus-one – a live crow. She pulled up in a sculpted black velvet gown with ivory fringe bursting off the shoulders and opera-length gloves to match. With a literal bird perched calmly on her arm, Cardi gave us fashion-as-performance in full force. It was extra, yes – but also fully in step with Schiaparelli’s surrealist DNA.

She also wore a ruby-red corseted gown from the designer’s Fall 2025 collection, complete with a cinched waist and roselike tendrils that curled behind her like climbing vines – pure drama before she even hit the front row.

Not far behind, Dua Lipa showed up in what can only be described as couture bridal-core. Her white gown, drenched in glimmering paillettes, featured a sharp slit and chest cutout framed by sculpted shoulders. As the rain hit the sequins, the whole thing glowed. Dua didn’t need to overdo anything – she walked in like the camera had been waiting for her.

Then came Hunter Schafer, bringing quiet power in a strapless seafoam gown with sleek stripes. No embellishment – just a minimalist masterpiece. With her hair slicked back and only pearls for detail, she let the lines of the look do all the talking. Schiaparelli’s front row was chaotic in the best way, and Hunter balanced it out perfectly.

Over at Tamara Ralph, Hailee Steinfeld switched things up with a sheer silver lace gown that did not read newlywed. Cutouts at the bust and midriff, a high slit, and three black velvet bows turned the look from sweet to sharp. The soft glam, ballerina bun, and glittering wedding ring just added to the whole vibe: refined, but still a little wild.

Subtle Icons and Scene-Stealers

While some went for drama, others delivered quieter hits. Heart Evangelista served up a creamy halter gown with a keyhole cutout and glossy waves. It was understated and polished, like luxury in soft focus. She didn’t need any bold accessories – just presence.

Karol G, on the other hand, walked in like she was starring in a reggaetón telenovela set at Versailles. Her corseted gown with cream embroidery, lace-up front, and an ivory train was full-on high fantasy. Paired with loose waves and soft glam, it was couture-meets-stage energy that turned heads even before she made it to her seat.

And let’s not skip Ryan Destiny, because this look? Straight-up sculpted slay. She pulled up in a blush pink dress with sharp curves, off-shoulder cuts, and matching gloves like it was nothing. The whole fit was giving “don’t talk to me unless you’re this symmetrical.” A total fashion flex.

Fashion Legends and Power Players

Couture Week wouldn’t be Couture Week without a few fashion veterans holding it down. Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, aka Sylvie from Emily in Paris, looked exactly how you’d expect: completely in control. Her pleated one-shoulder gown in deep chocolate, gold heels, and signature oversized sunnies screamed “French exec, no notes.”

Meanwhile, Chiara Ferragni kept it crisp and calculated in a white puff-sleeve mini with gold detailing and a corseted waist. From silhouette to styling, she nailed the influencer-meets-editorial sweet spot.

And to close it out, Marisa Berenson reminded everyone how it’s done. Dressed in a black velvet set embroidered with gold detailing, she looked like she’s been schooling the fashion crowd since before Instagram existed. No flashy trends, no gimmicks – just old-school slay with a side of legend behavior.
