The lineup of fall nail colors 2025 is no joke. I’m talking rich reds, forest greens, mauves, smoky purples, and even gemstone-inspired shades that are taking over TikTok and Pinterest. Every brand from OPI to Zoya, Essie, Sally Hansen, and others is dropping shades that nail girlies are already bookmarking. Whether you’re team neutral, obsessed with chrome and velvet finishes, or still deciding what your fall mani vibe is, this lineup has every color worth saving.
1. Rich Reds
Fall without deep reds? Couldn’t be me. Burgundy, oxblood, cherry mocha, and cabernet are back running the season, and honestly, nothing feels more vampy-chic. Kinetics has a killer new shade Goals (yep, that’s the one in the photo), while DND’s Cherry Mocha and Zoya’s Rachael are blowing up all over NailTok.
Keep it sleek with a solid mani or sneak in some French tips. Feeling extra? Add rhinestones, or layer in gold or silver chrome accents to make the color pop harder. Tiny cherry nail art on a smile line isn’t slowing down either – Pinterest searches are only climbing.
2. Forest Greens
Green nails are officially stealing fall 2025. From moss and sage to muted olive and dark hunter, the shades are giving cozy but cool. Even Jan Arnold from CND is predicting “dark teal” and “yellow sage” as the it-colors this season. Personally? I’m ride-or-die for The GelBottle’s Savage, but Sally Hansen’s new olive and emerald shades are also on my radar.
Design inspo is stacked: French tips with metallic outlines, cat-eye shimmer, velvet effects, tortoiseshell or other animal print accents all pair nicely. Plaid micro-lines are blowing up, and copper foil or gold starbursts on a single nail just scream autumn.
3. Berry Shades
Berry shades needed their own category – too unique, too juicy to lump in with reds. They’re TikTok-viral for a reason, with everyone hunting for that perfect shade. Here nail artist Megan Rose used Manucurist’s Green Flash in Violeta. Dior even dropped Rouge Trafalgar last year (a cranberry red), and it’s still serving luxury vibes.
All the raspberry, cranberry, mulberry, and blueberry hues are giving glossy forest fruit vibes. They look insane in full color, but if you’re itching for design, negative space is still the Roman Empire of nail art. You can also go with chrome for that mirror glow or with cat-eye shimmer for dimension.
4. Off-White & Neutrals

Forget “boring,” neutrals are quietly running the season. Warm off-whites like ivory, cream, bone, are basically fall’s staples. Nail artists are living for parchment and milky vanilla shades right now. Even Selena Gomez’s Emmy mani featured CND’s Silk Thread, and the internet hasn’t shut up since.

These shades work with everything: clean girl nails, minimalist vibes, or as the perfect base for extra details. Add gold chrome for luxe shine or swap in blooming gel florals for a fall update. Soft, chic, and honestly? Way more fun than beige.
5. Dark Orange Hues

Orange fall nails just feel cozy. We’re skipping bright Halloween orange and heading straight into spicy apricot and amber. Semilac’s Spicy Pumpkin is my October must, and OPI doubled down with burnt orange tones in their “What’s Your Mani-tude?” collection feturing terracotta brick reds like Slip Dressed Up from and marigold/apricot shimmer Penny Loafer Lane.
November birthday girlies, your nails basically demand amber shades for that citrine birthstone vibe. They’re perfect for an autumn skittle mani – just grab five faves and wear them all at once. Fall florals in amber mixed with earthy greens or browns? Chef’s kiss. Want to keep it low-key? Micro Frenchies still hit different.
6. Mauve
Fall without mauve nails? Not happening. It’s that dreamy middle ground between purple and pink, and I’ve been loyal to OPI Incognito Mode for years. But I’m eyeing their new shimmery Track Suited Cutie from the fall lineup because mauve deserves every version.
In 2025, mauve manis are doing it all chrome, velvet, aura fades, cat-eye shimmer, swirls, florals. It even works in sheer jelly form for that watery look Instagram can’t get enough of. Basically, mauve is the multitasker of fall nail colors.
7. Caramel Brown
We all know Pantone’s Mocha Mousse is color of the year, but it’s not the only light brown running the show. Zoya literally dubbed light caramel as “the go-to neutral for 2025,” and their polish Kinsley is that warm, creamy beige-brown that’s peak coffee-core.

Light browns really shine when you pair them with warm metals like gold, champagne, and copper, or keep it cozy with neutrals like cream, ivory, and chocolate. Design-wise, the current faves are brown chrome, latte ombres, cat-eye shimmer, and those multitoned brown animal print patterns everyone’s saving.
8. Smoky Purples

Deep purple fall nails are thriving, and Kinetics Reveal had me heart-eyes the second I saw it. I would also try Sally Hansen Can’t Beet Royalty from their new fall color palette – it’s a rich, classy shade perfect for your new moody mani.

Play with the designs. Alternate darker and lighter purples for a gradient moment or to make a French and solid nails combo. Top with shimmer for sparkle that’s chic not tacky, or go marble for an amethyst-inspired vibe that feels spot-on for fall weather.
9. Chocolate Browns
Oh did you think we are doing just light browns. No bestie chocolaty browns are here too and they are so glam and expensive looking that you have to try them. Most of them come with slight reddish undertones like this Wine Chocolate from Bluesky or the newest Fringes and Saddle from Essie’s “Boho Rodeo” Collection.
Designs are endless. Dark brown polka dots mixed with, pinks, and blues are still one of most hyped designs on TPI’s TikTok. Want something more elevated? Add gold chrome or tiny studs. Chocolate nails never miss.
10. Dark Blue

September babes basically get sapphire nails as their birthstone gift, and Olive & June Sapphire Season nails it. But honestly, dark blues are trending for everyone – Chanel Le Vernis Fugueuse is blowing up, and navy blue is another shade I keep seeing all over feeds, obsessed with this Gelcare Club Navy polish.
Design inspo is stacked: negative space layouts, silver chrome outlines, ombré blends, and cat-eye finishes are everywhere on socials. Whether it’s your birthstone or not, dark blue nails are easily one of the strongest fall nail colors to wear this year.
11. Neutral Pink
Pink fall nails are the move and all the hype is on neutrals for the season – from barely-there like the Glossify Simplicity (photo above) to blushed beige-pink like Zoya Franny. Why neutral pink? Well, they hit every nail trend from the no-makeup to princess-core and never feel out of place.

For designs, neutral pink is a chameleon. Add a chrome glaze over a sheer base, use darker pinks as a canvas for art, or mix them in with deeper colors like navy, chocolate, or black. Basically, pink can handle whatever you throw at it.
12. Deep Plum
Plum nails live in that sweet spot between red and purple, and that’s what makes them addictive. Lights Lacquer Figgy Delight is already in my cart – yes, it’s that good – and Londontown’s Elderberry is always on my shelf.

The drama is real with plum: blend it into wine reds for an aura mani, stack it with glittery lines, or throw it into a mix-and-match design. Thanks to its warm undertones, it’s also one of those shades that looks expensive even with just a glossy topcoat.
13. Black Hues

Black isn’t new for fall, but in 2025 it’s a cultural reset. Editorial manicurist Miss Pop said it best: “Black isn’t just another nail color, it’s a whole mood.” OPI Grunge Queen (a semi-sheer black with red shimmer) nails that 90s and “indie sleaze” revival you can see everywhere, while classics like Essie Licorice are forever staples.

Designs? Endless. Black + white polka dots are everywhere, but swirls, chrome overlays, pearls, and florals are thriving too. If you thought black was the “safe” choice, NailTok is here to prove it’s anything but.
14. Gray Tones
Gray nails are leveling up this fall. OPI Suzi’s Pager is a creamy neutral, Zoya Tommy hits that bluish-gray everyone’s posting about, and Ella + Mila Grey Skies (photo above) is cooler-toned perfection that pops on deeper skin.

As a neutral, gray works with everything – charcoal tones with silver glitter, blue-leaning grays with chrome accents, or white contrasts for sharp designs. This year I’m also seeing sculpted 3D blooms layered on gray bases, and it looks gorg.
15. Opal-Inspired Colors

Opal nails are the gemstone mani we all deserve, especially October babies since opal is their birthstone. The Gel Bottle Opal is a go-to when you want an already made opal polish (photo above), or try Zoya Leia from their new collection. Other way to get the look is by adding opal flakes on a milky base.

In 2025, opal nails are all about holographic shifts and multichromes. Nail artist Mateja Novakovic used Bio Sculpture’s gel polish Donna with their Apricot Angel chrome powder for a dreamy opalescent finish, and it’s easily the prettiest look this season.
And that’s the roundup of the top fall nail colors for 2025. From cozy caramel browns to sapphire blues and opal manis, these shades are the ones to save.
