Floral nail girlies, assemble – the tulip has officially clocked in as spring 2026’s main character and I refuse to shut up about it.

Daisy art had its moment. Cherry blossoms walked so this could full-on sprint. We are in our tulip era now, and I rounded up 20 of the cutest tulip nail sets to prove my case in court. 🌷

Here’s the look that’s everywhere: a side-profile tulip painted upright on the nail, two curved strokes for the cup-shaped petals, a thin green stem, a leaf if your nail tech is feeling generous.

It looks like a Dutch still life shrunk down onto your ring finger and I mean that as the highest compliment. Top-down tulips are not happening this season. Side-profile or go home.

The color situation is genuinely spoiling us. Butter yellow is having such a moment that booking searches for it are through the roof, milky pinks, soft greens, and lilacs are doing the soft-girl heavy lifting, and pastel blues are pulling up for the cool-toned crowd.

If you want full Tulip Mania drama, hot pink or punchy red are right there waiting – OPI literally has a pinkish-red shade called Dutch Tulips. They saw us coming.

But it’s not just about the color story – nail techs are going all in on the finishes too. Glossy is still the OG, but chrome is fully on the table if you want extra shine.

Cat-eye or velvet base with tulips layered on top is a fab choice when you want that shifty, dimensional depth.

Matte is still around too, but I have to be honest with you – matte starts looking dusty and sad about an hour in, and tulips deserve better.

Where this gets fun is the trend stacking. Coquette mani girlies are layering tulips with polka dots, lace work, micro bows, and pearl accents and the result is genuinely fairycore-meets-vintage-doll-house.

Picnic nail people are pairing one tulip accent with gingham, polka dots, and a stray strawberry like it’s a tiny tablescape. Maximalists are throwing in chrome outlines, bee art, daisies, and every other spring motif because restraint is a stranger to them.

Minimalists get to do one tiny tulip on a clean base and call it a day. The trend works for literally everyone, which is why nail techs are saying it’s one of the most-booked spring sets right now.

Also – Mother’s Day is sneaking up. Tulip nails are sweet, seasonal, and quietly sentimental without being corny. Book the appointment.
