The 15 Best Red Carpet Looks From TIFF 2026 So Far

TIFF 2026 opened on September 10 with Siân Heder’s Being Heumann, and the red carpet immediately acquired a substantial fabric bill. Fan Bingbing supplied enough skirt for several people. Chase Infiniti chose a chartreuse mini. Noomi Rapace made an unusually persuasive case for an enormous collar.
The 51st Toronto International Film Festival runs through September 20, so these are our 15 standouts from its first three days, September 10–12. There’s couture worth inspecting up close, tailoring with personality, and a healthy disagreement about how much black constitutes enough black.
1. Fan Bingbing

Her Tony Ward fall 2026 gown had a strapless, lavishly beaded corset, pistachio-green ruching across the hips, and a mermaid skirt that expanded into a sweeping train. Emerald-and-diamond jewelry and a sleek low bun completed the look, styled by Christopher Bu and Wish Gui.
2. Ayo Edebiri

She wore Chanel fall 2026 couture by Matthieu Blazy: a white one-shoulder column with black-and-white embroidered tendrils winding diagonally around it. Braids swept back from her face kept the asymmetric neckline visible.
3. Chase Infiniti

Her custom Louis Vuitton mini by Nicolas Ghesquière was chartreuse, sleeveless, and covered in dense, feathery texture. She added black ankle-strap sandals, Gabriel & Co. jewelry, and a high updo that let her curls pile up.
4. Noomi Rapace

The Swedish actor, known for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, wore a gray skirt suit with a fitted, buttoned jacket and an enormous sculpted collar spreading across her shoulders. A long straight skirt, black pointed pumps, and slicked-back hair kept the rest controlled.
5. Lisa

The Louis Vuitton ambassador wore a custom chocolate-brown velvet outfit by Nicolas Ghesquière: a plunging cropped top and a long skirt with a train. A low-slung leather belt, long black gloves, and a broad silver studded collar gave the soft fabric some bite.
6. Naomi Watts

Styled by Jeanann Williams, the actor wore a Celine fall 2026 dress with a high neckline, an oversized draped bow, and silver floral embellishments scattered over black satin. The sleeveless cut and below-the-knee hem left room to appreciate the shape. Black pointed pumps kept the finish tidy.
7. Luke Evans

The Welsh actor paired a burgundy shirt with an open, softly draped neckline with pale, high-waisted trousers. Their generous leg and matching belt gave the outfit its shape, while dark pointed shoes provided a neat finish.
8. Anna Kendrick

The Pitch Perfect actor, who stars opposite Seth Rogen, wore a strapless dress with a sequined landscape across the bodice and a full copper-brown skirt with a woodgrain-like pattern. Brown pointed pumps and an updo finished the look.
9. Jodie Comer

The Killing Eve actor wore Fendi fall 2026 couture: a black silk-crepe tunic dress with a plunging neckline and long leather ribbons. Stylist Emma Jade Morrison kept the accessories focused on an Elsa Peretti Bone cuff, with Comer’s hair loose and lightly waved.
10. Megan Rapinoe

She wore a relaxed black trouser suit with a white T-shirt, a bright red sash, and a large white flower on the lapel. Her bleached crop suited the outfit’s easy proportions.

Inde Navarrette returned to TIFF on September 11 for a special Obsession screening and panel with director Curry Barker, revisiting the horror film that premiered at the festival in 2025. She wore Dior resort 2027 by Jonathan Anderson: a shimmering metallic knit dress gathered at the hip, with an uneven, frayed hem and a pale chiffon panel falling down one side. Delicate jewelry and metallic sandals completed it.
12. Ruth Madeley

The British actor chose a sparkling navy gown with a high neckline, long sleeves, and a close-fitting, floor-length skirt. Sheer sections through the upper body gave the dense shimmer a little variation.
13. Chlöe Bailey

Her black strapless gown combined a fitted sweetheart bodice with draping gathered at the hip, a high slit, and a long train. She wore sheer black tights and pointed pumps, with her hair pulled into a high ponytail.
14. Zooey Deschanel

15. Sebastian Stan

The Marvel star wore a slate-gray double-breasted suit over a white crewneck T-shirt. The jacket had defined shoulders and a long, clean line, with matching trousers and polished black shoes. His close-cropped hair kept the overall effect spare.
The strongest TIFF looks so far have something specific to recommend them: Ayo’s embroidery, Luke’s trousers, or Noomi’s completely unreasonable collar. Fan Bingbing has the grand entrance covered. With another week of premieres ahead, everyone else still has time to negotiate a larger luggage allowance.
